Since this site is about building backlinks I figure the best way to kick it off is by giving links away. So if you want a free backlink, just ask!
You can comment in this thread or email me with the subject line “I want a free link!”
Sites that are about links may get into the blogroll but I will post links about almost anything!
There is no catch and I am not asking for anything in return. There are a couple conditions though:
- Links will be reviewed to make sure the site is in good standing with the search engines (and likely to stay that way).
- No “adult content”. This is at my discretion.
- English only.
I think that’s it though someone may change my mind.
It’s helpful if you provide a brief description of your site as well.
You may make as many requests as you like - there is no limit!

Wit, I am honoring all requests that fit within the guidelines. When a site does not qualify I send a note explaining why and encourage the site owner/promoter to try again with other sites if they have them.

Curiously, what colour SEO hat would this link building service be considered? What happens if your site falls into the bad graces of Google… will your outlinks be punished?

you should just make this a “DoFollow” blog like mine and encourage more participation that way. not that it’s worked for my blog though - i have a day job.

@Wit - Did I miss your request? I don’t recall anything from you until recently and you said that site wasn’t quite ready yet.
@Brooke - White fer sure. And there are standards of acceptance which makes these links edited to prevent Google from getting angry. There is nothing wrong with giving away links (or accepting them). Besides, any punishment to my outlinks will not affect your sites… just mine. If you reciprocated the link there could be trouble but that isn’t the case here (though you are always free to throw some link-love my way!).
@Monkey SEO - That’s a good idea and something I’ll keep in mind. Actually, that’s a really good idea… hmmm…
